Comment section only shows up at one page

Dear Apex,

I added a comment section to my website, but it only shows up at one page (http://alleseters.nl/wat-je-nog-niet-wist-over-boodschappen-doen-met-je-kind/). I would like to have this comment section on every page. I hope you can help me solve this problem.

Kind regards,

Ingrid

Hey,

Hi there,

The page do not display the comment section because of the page template assigned to them is Blank - No Container | Header, Footer. Blank template will display nothing and you will have to add the contents yourself. Kindly set the page template to Standard Template instead.

Also, it seems that you are trying to construct your blog page but you are adding the items that is on the page manually. What you can do is set the blog page as the post page. You can do this by going to Instellingen > Lezen > Startpagina toont then set the Berichtpagina option to the blog page you have created. Once you visit your blog page, all the pages created in the post section will be automatically be placed there. You can customize the blog page by going to X > Launch > Options > Blog .

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. I changed all to Standard Template, but still the comment section only is visible on the following page: http://alleseters.nl/wat-je-nog-niet-wist-over-boodschappen-doen-met-je-kind/. I hope you can help me. Thanks a lot

Kind regards,

Ingrid

Hi @ingridvdzanden,

I checked your pages and the comments are not enabled that’s why it’s not showing. For each of your pages go to Screen Options and enable Comments first (see screenshot)

Then scroll down and enable comments on that page (see screenshot)

I’ve done it on About page http://alleseters.nl/about/ you can do it on all of your pages where you want comments to show. Also I’ve noticed you’re using an outdated version of X and Cornerstone plugin. Please update your theme and plugins to the latest version to avoid potential conflicts. You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

Also make sure to update your WordPress installation as well.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for all the help and advice, great service!

Glad we could help.

Cheers!
