Combining Taxonomy

Hey y’all. I have what seems like an easy question to me, but I am getting an overwhelming number of results and having a hard time figuring out the easy way to accomplish this.

I have two taxonomy I want to combine. A “Brand” taxonomy and a “Product Type” taxonomy, and I want to generate URLs to assign layouts to. Imagine .example/brandname/producttype/product, not sub-categories but two separate taxonomy.

I found this plugin to do it https://wordpress.org/plugins/beautiful-taxonomy-filters/ but I feel dumb downloading that when I am sure there is a way to do this natively I just can’t figure out.

Anyone have some experience with this? Isn’t there just a way to structure permalinks to call this for me? It must be obvious.

Thanks for writing in!

By default, this is the only allowed permalinks in WordPress:

You may need 3rd party plugin to be able to accomplish what you have in mind. Be also advised that this inquiry is beyond the scope of the theme as this is a customization of the WordPress permalink which is in no way related to the theme.
