Columns with Fade-In Enabled not showing up

I found a couple other people who were having the same issue with fade-in columns not showing, but can’t figure this one out. I have too many pages to go through and disable each effect. Steps I have taken, below.

  1. I started by disable Hummingbird and that seemed to fix it the other day, but the problem has returned (with no other changes)
  2. I re-enabled Hummingbird and manually turned off any minification settings
  3. Disabled plugins

It seems to be some sort of JS problem that is happening, but I cannot pinpoint it. We have a couple different websites running Pro, but it is only happening to this one. Any advice or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Minification and caching would be one possible cause. Also could you please try testing for a plugin conflict by disabling your 3rd party plugins.

If you require further assistance, we will require your page URLs.

Thanks!

I have tried your suggestions already and was unable to get it working.

Hi There,

Upon checking, I see that you’re utilizing CloudFlare on your site. Please head over to your CloudFlare account, then the Speed tab and make sure to disable CSS & Javascript autominification options.

After that, clear your CloudFlare cache and test your site again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

CloudFlare is currently in development mode, but I made the changes as you suggested and I am getting the same results.

CloudFlare has also been enabled on this website for months and we have not run into this issue.

Hi again,

We’ve observed this happening due to the cache most of the time, did you clear the Coudflare’s cache? Please clear the cache first and disable Cloudflare temporarily and make sure to disable the rocket loader too as the loader loads your site’s javascript files asynchronously in which the order is not respected at all (please see https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200168056-What-does-Rocket-Loader-do-)

Let us know how this goes!

@Nabeel - Clearing the cache, then disabling was my problem. I currently have CloudFlare deactivated for the entire website, and it seems to be working as expected. I will have to go through each plugin I have to see exactly what is going on.

Simply disabling the rocket loader, then clearing cache, did not give me the expected results.

Thanks for your help

Hi again,

There must be a plugin conflict as well, thank you for letting us know and glad we could help.

Cheers!
