I have created a conditional mobile header.
I cannot seem to make the columns sit side by side on the smallest screen size.
Please see the attached link. The search, account, and basket icons are in one column and the hamburger is in another, but they are stacking. I don’t have flexbox activated - could this be the problem?

The reason why the column is stacking on the mobile is that the column is set to full width. If you want to sit by side on the smallest screen size, I suggest that you change the column into 2.
I also suggest that you update your Pro theme to the latest version to access the Responsive Styling functionality. You can check this video how it works.
