Column's offset to swich em

Hey there,

since Pro is built with a framework similiar to bootstrap, is there a way to offset columns via css?
Like to put column n.2 in the position of the n.1 and vice versa?

Thanks in advice

Howdy, @dvpnawn!

Thanks for writing in! While X and Pro base certain elements and architecture off of various frameworks in some situations, everything we write is from scratch. At this time, our original grid does not have any such functionality to offset a column, but we do have plans to allow for this as we move forward with revamping our “v2 Elements,” which at some point down the road will include an updated grid with much greater layout flexibility.

For the time being, you can “fake” this setup by placing some content within a column that does not show visibly and has no space to it. For instance, you could have a 1/2-1/2 layout and place a Line element in the first column, make it’s color completely transparent, and ensure that you set the height to 1px (I recommend this because while setting the height to 0px should work, in some browsers it may collapse). That way on desktop the whole section will appear to have an offset column to the right, and then on mobile columns will stack like normal.

Hopefully this helps to point you in the right direction. Cheers!
