Columns Not Displaying Side-by-Side

I’m experiencing an odd behavior with a section not displaying its two columns side by side. I have a section with one row and two columns. There’s a text element in the left column and an image in the right column. While editing in Pro the two columns display side-by-side as expected. But when I view the page as a website visitor would see it the right column is stacked below the left one even though there is lots of space for the right column.

Right below the problem section (section 2) there is another section (section 3) with the same layout. That section displays as expected in both editing mode and normal viewing mode. As far as I can tell the settings are the same for both sections and their rows & columns.

The problem occurs on Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Here’s the post URL:

Can you explain why this is happening?

Hello @WPDave,

Thanks for writing in!

After further investigation, I found out that you are having this issue because you have inserted invalid html code.

<p>Have you spent time looking for family members on genealogy websites?
It’s great fun, isn’t it, to discover look-alikes and common traits among
newly discovered relatives. There are birds likely around you every day
that are related…but perhaps you were unaware? We want to reintroduce
you to the family, Corvidae. You guessed it! Crows are among them, and
people are inclined to downright hate them. But apart from three species of
crows in North America, there are about fifteen other members in this family.
They include ravens, jays, and magpies. They don’t all look exactly alike,
but if you think about it long enough, you may come up with a few physical
and behavioral traits they have in common. </p?

You are supposed to insert “<p>Some content texts here</p>”.

Kindly edit your page and correct the issue.

Oh, I’m so sorry to trouble you with this dumb mistake of mine! Thanks a million for your help!!

Don’t mentioned it.
We are delighted in helping you.
