Column widths (Ethos)

Hi,

Could you tell me the ideal/exact widths for the standard columns in X. I want to add images to 1/3, 1/2 and 2/3 columns and keep them looking uniform. My client would like to update images too and I need to give them the exact size for images.

Thanks for writing in!

By default, the maximum width for the content area is 1200px. This can be set in X > Theme Options > Layout And Design > Site Max Width. Once you have it set, then the widths of the columns are the following:

• 1/3 of 1200px is roughly 368 pixels since you will have a 4% right margin for the two columns.
• 1/2 of 1200px is 576 pixels.
• 2/3 of 1200 is roughly 736 pixels
