Column shortcodes and future versions

Hello!

We use the column shortcodes a lot in development especially in conjunction with the Toolset plugins. They work great together! I’m curious:

  • Will they continue to be supported moving ahead?
  • Are the plans to expand them with flexbox usage or should we just go about adding manual flexbox classes to the shortcode?

Thanks for writing in!

1.) Yes, all shortcodes, the classic shortcodes including the columns will always be supported.
2.) The flexbox option is only available to the v2 column elements which is only in Pro Editor or Cornerstone. It is not available to classic column shortcodes.
