Column Layout in Pro on IE

I am having a consistent problem with layout in Internet Explorer and Edge for my Pro websites. I have two totally different situations with the same problem.

The problem is that text overlaps into either the next column or a right aligned image. Mainly if I have a row with two 50/50 columns, the left column’s text disappears under the right column making much of the text invisible. The website is behind Pro’s “Under Construction”.

Hello @cdnwhite,

Thanks for writing in!

I can see that this section is working fine on my end with an IE Edge and IE 10 Emulator browser.

For IE Edge:

For IE 10 Emulator:

Please try clearing your browser cache. Let us know how it goes.

Thank you.

Sorry for my late reply. Yes and no to your suggestions. The browser cache makes no difference. The page loads like the screenshots. However, if I click the HOME button on my site’s menu, the layout corrects. In reality, no user is going to do this and will see the site as being faulty. Do you have any other ideas as to how to ensure the page loads properly first time in IE? It seems to be fine in most other browsers.

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,

What version of IE you’re using? I did check the site on my end (IE11) and its fine on first and succeeding load (see screencast below)

Try viewing the site on IE’s Private Browsing feature (ctrl+shift+p) where there are no caching and browser add-ons involved.

Cheers!
