Column background image cover whole column in new Cornerstone elements

Hi,

In the V2 elements I set an background image to a column (marginless columns) and it covered the whole column width and height following the height of the column beside.

How van I achief the same with the new elements?

My example page is here: https://vanderwyck.nl/wp/

The upper is with V2 elements marginless columns and the lower with new elements.

Or there an other (better) way to achief this and keep is flexible/responsive in X?

THX, Carel

Hi Carel,

Thanks for reaching out.

What do you mean by how can you achieve with the new elements? can you explain it further so that we can better help you with solve your issue. Providing screenshots or videos is a great help.

On the other hand, you are doing the right thing on how to apply an image to fit the whole columns. I also check your website and the layout is already good on responsive.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Hi!,

The green section is build with the V2 elements and is working perfect. The background image in the left column is covering the whole column and if I put more content in the right culumn, the image is flexing and the full height stays coverd by the image.

The red section is build with the new elements and I can’t get the background image covering the full height of the column. The space of the red arrows seems to be copied from the right column.

I’ll send you a login!

Hi Carel,

It’s due to the Align vertical option of the Row, I went ahead and changed the value from center to stretch and it starts working. Please find the screenshot describing it.

Thanks

Thanks! So simple… I kept looking in the column properties insteat the row…

Have a nice day!
