I wonder if you’d be able to help me.
This issue is using the official X Under Construction Add-In.
When setting the background colour it seems to go to the correct colour (ff8066) - but then as soon as the page has loaded the first paint (as ff8066) it goes to white. I have tried uninstalling the plugin and looking at the CSS in Chrome when the page is loading and cannot see anything there.
Would you be able to take a look into this for me?

You are experiencing the issue because a background image is displaying on the page. Please go to X > Theme Options > Layout & Design > Background Option. You need to insert a background image and then remove it after. This is a crucial step so that the default background image from the demo will be updated and removed which will need display the correct background color (ff8066).
