Colour Picker bug

Hi,
Im reporting a colour picker bug which has been identified in other posts but doesnt look to be fixed. Im using Cornerstone and when I select a pre-defined colour, then use the colour swatch to modify it, then go to the far left of the shade/colour picker, the base colour randomly changes.

Steps to reproduce.

Create a pre-defined colour.
Select that predefined colour
Move the colour shade to the far left of the shade selector (greys)
The colour suddenly changes to a completely different colour.

The colour picker has some very odd behaviour and has done for a while for me at least. Particularly if you also pick a colour from the pantone then select a different shade.

Think it needs a big re-test.

I could not replicate the issue on our local test server.

Pre selected color:

Changing the Opacity:
dywUEhhvTp6HrrEQqtQtag

Changing the color shade:
fEypmjedSNCvnJk6syKZQg

As you change any value in the selectors, the color value also changes and it will be applied to the element as well. Can you please confirm that you are using the latest version of the theme? Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 3.2.3 or
  • X theme 7.2.3
  • Cornerstone 4.2.3
  • WordPress 5.3.2 or higher

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Ive cleared CloudFlare, my ISP cache, and browser cache and I can reliably replicate this problem. I can send you a video link showing it in a private message if that would help?

There are lots of other issues with the colour picker for them. Like clicking in the multicolour slider and then changing then shade then clicking again, the colours randomly change.

Id suggest a thorough re-test if possible.
