Colors replaced

Hello - I started playing with some new templates and assigning some sample footers to a test page in my site. This deleted most of my custom colors–4 of them, all my primary color palette! This is terrible behavior. How can we get this fixed ASAP. I can’t have a live site that I am working on behind the scenes go from production-ready to essentially broken when I test a template.
