Color Change Dialog Box Acting Funny

Hi,

As you can see from the image, for some reason, suddenly the color changing dialog box started acting weird.
When I click it, it opens as shown in the image, and it is not clickable.
I have closed chrome, deleted all cache and cookies etc, and have also restarted my mac.
But to no avail. Can you help me fix it?

Thanks

Hi there,

Please double check that you have the updated version of X and Cornerstone.

Let us know how it goes.

Yes, currently using 6.04 for X theme. Cornerstone 3.04

Hi again,

Please check for the following first:

  1. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  3. Remove custom CSS, JavaScript and deactivate your child theme and switch to parent theme.

Let us know how this goes!

Tried opening it on Firefox and everything looks great there.

Tried all the steps, but the problem remained for Chrome though.

Must be some compatibility issue with Chrome/Safari or something?

Saw another thread just now posted more than a week ago facing the same issue.

Hi There,

Yes, I also saw a couple of users with the same issue. What OS do you have? Saw someone here that resolves the issue by updating his OS.

Let us know how it goes,
Thanks,

OS X Yosemite. Version 10.10.5

Everything was working fine just yesterday, but no idea why suddenly it got buggy.

Hi There,

Can you please send us your website details so that we can have a look.

Please provide following information:
Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
    All the best!

Thanks

Pls check below

Hi There,

The color picker is working absolutely fine in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

I haven’t tested in IE (Windows), please confirm if you have the issue with any specific browser or OS.

Thanks

Hi There,

Another case here that resolves this issue after updating the OS to the latest version (High Sierra).

It’s a conflict between browser and OS, so there is nothing we can do about it, but you need to update.

Cheers!

Thanks for your help guys!

I’ll get my work done on Firefox for now. Must be some compatibility issue with Chrome, OS etc.

Will ask for your help if this happens on some other website where I’ve X installed.

Cheers

You’re welcome.
