Collapsed Navigation top links dont work

On the collapsed nav on https://margjordan.com/vhp the top links on the mobile menu do not work as links. They only open the sub links.

I cannot understand why a navigation element would be designed in a way that links were not used for navigation. I had been using the navigation dropdown but it does not act properly on phones. see pic:

Is there a navigation element for mobile devices that can be used to navigate to all pages on the chosen menu AND be used on the mobile devices it was intended for?

Hi there,

As I mentioned this behavior is for items that are the parent of child items. At the time being, you are welcomed to add a new menu which will have only one level menu items and not sub items. Then will use one of Collapsed or modal Navigation items to list them. Then in the pages which they link to, I would add the listing of sub menu pages.

Thanks for writing around, to temporarily fix the issue, add the following jQuery script in your Customizer via Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global Javascript

jQuery(document).ready(function($){
	$('.x-off-canvas .x-anchor-menu-item .x-anchor-text').on('touchend click', function(e) {
		var link = $(this).parents('.x-anchor-menu-item').attr('href');
		window.location.href = link;
	});
});

Don’t forget to clear your browser’s cache after adding the code. Let us know how this goes!
