Collapsed Navigation not working on iphone

I’m having trouble getting my collapsed navigation menu working on iPhone. It doesn’t seem to work from the home page, but it will work (with extra effort and clicking) from other pages. I have it set so it only appears when on mobile displays but it doesn’t seem to be clickable on the phone.

Some of the buttons on the homepage also don’t work on the iPhone as well when in portrait mode. They work in landscape but not portrait.

As a side note, it would be great if we could copy header sections from different bars and headers (like you can do when designing pages).

Hello @kjsimoni,

Thanks for your inquiry! :slight_smile:

I recommend that we add this code on Pro > Launch > Theme Options and please let me know when it’s done. We’ll see if there were changes in iPhone.

.el5.x-anchor {
   display: block !important;
}

May I also ask your wordpress login details in a secure note?

I’m not seeing where to add the custom code to theme options.

Hello There,

You can find the custom css section in the left side panel of the theme options.

And since you are using CloudFlare, you may need to login to your CloudFlare account and purge your site cache. For best results, please make sure that you are using the recommended CloudFlare settings which can be found here: https://xthemetips.com/using-cloudflare-rocket-loader-with-x-pro-and-x5/928/

Hope this helps.

I put in the custom CSS but it doesn’t seem to be helping. I haven’t been aware that I’ve been using CloudFlare, and if I have, it’s been since I installed pro so I wouldn’t think it would be affected by a change in settings. The buttons on the iPhone for the hamburger menu just aren’t very clickable, it’s like the touch isn’t being recognized or that the clickable area is too small.

Hi there,

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, I could not access the website. Would you please kindly make sure that your website is not down?

As I do not have access to your website I don’t know why the hamburger menu acts like that on iPhone. I have iPhone SE and can test the case as soon as you follow up the site being down.

Thank you.

The website isn’t down for me, it’s password protected currently. There’s a secure note from earlier with the password, and I’ll attach it again.

Hi there,

It seems that the problem was you did not type the www in the URL and without that the URL could not open.

I managed to access your website and did check the header builder. I changed some values from EM to PX and it is better now. And now the first item is clickable. But I am amazed why the others are not clickable.

I tried to make somewhat the same thing on my local installation and it worked with no problem.

So I am baffled what to suggest now. Would you please check for the possible plugin conflicts by disabling all plugins?

And if it is not working please backup your website and try to install the theme again.

Thank you.

I deactivated all the plugins, and didn’t see a change. I then reactivated them, and deactivated the pro theme. I deleted the pro theme, and re-installed it. The good news is that the first item is still clickable, but none of the other ones work still. So the problem didn’t get worse but it wasn’t fixed.

Hi there,

I checked and it seems to be working fine, would you mind clarifying what buttons and links that aren’t working?

And since this is part of troubleshooting, it’s best to remove your CF from your site temporary ( by changing your domain Nameservers back to your hosting ). I still can see it active on your site.

Thanks!

It seems to be working fine for us now as well. I’m not sure what happened to make it broken and now fixed.

Glad all is working now.

Cheers!
