Two questions:
Firstly I see some code appearing on my homepage, not always but the majority of the time. Screengrab attached. Please could you advise how I can remove it? Secondly in the past, I’ve been able to set-up menu items as a simple link. That is no page opens when just the main link is clicked. For some reason, I can’t seem to do this from my menu page. Again please see the screengrab.

It seems the output shows the Broken Shortcode, please check the shortcode and whether the shortcode added into the page in the proper way.
You can also try to troubleshoot on very few more common issues like :

– Link to your WordPress site
– WordPress Admin username / password
