Code appearing above navbar

Hello!

There seems to be a “phantom” code appearing on the site when it goes live.

When I customize the header, the code doesn’t appear. When I edit the Pages the codea appears above the navbar. This causes a space above the navbar and it shouldn’t be there. Any ideas how to get rid of it? I’ve looked through the pages, the headers to see if there was some kind of CSS or JS that was typed by mistake, but I wasn’t able to find it. The code that is appearing above the entire header on each page is this:
img.x-img.x-img-circle{border-radius:100%;}.column{float:left;width:50%;}.row:after{content:"";display:table;clear:both;}

You have several licenses on your account so I am not sure which site is in question.

Would you mind providing us the site url so that we can check it?

For the meantime, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

I’m fairly new to this theme and reaching out for some support so let me know if that helped or didn’t. I’m currently looking at the plugin and realized a few needed updates. When I updated them, there were a couple that couldn’t update and I’m beginning to think that could be what is wrong. Let me know if you need anything else Many thanks!

Thank you for the URL, that could be a broken code somewhere, did you put an image somewhere via a custom HTML or shortcode? possible those codes are invalid.

I also see that you have a child theme, do you have a customization on your child theme? Would you mind removing that customization and see if that resolves the issue.

If none of that solution above works, please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If everything fails, please provide us login credentials (wp-admin and FTP) in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

I deactivated all third party plugins. But it still seems to be there. So, off to the hunt of where that broken code can be. It could be an image… I’ll get back to you once I run down this list.

I FOUND THE BROKEN CODE!!! HA! sorry about that! such a simple solution. I suspected but I didn’t want to look through all the codes, I checked the plugins too and updated many of them.
