Closing page getting Double Pop Ups that Page Isn't Saved when it is

Hey Guys,

Im experiencing a widespread issue that I’ve asked about before with no answer. If any of my 200 users hit save, then get the Success message, then exit the page we will get hit with the Double Pop Up (One from your backend, the other from the browser) regarding the page not being saved. Can you let me know how to remedy this? This has been confirmed by meself and 60 users who have sent me messages about the error. Today, they all said they were expereincing the same issue.

Little Help?

Hello,

Could you provide to us more information like:

  • the WP credentials, the website link and how to reproduce the issue?

Hey

To duplicate this issue, all you need to do is hit save, wait for the page to reload, then exit to dashboard. Here’s 2 videos of the issue. If you click “Yes Proceed” you’ll get the second popup from the browser. If you need a video of that second pop i can make one, but here’s videos of 2 different setups with the same issues.

Example 1 is on a fresh install.

Example 2 is on a site with about 20-30 users experiencing the issue (All my clients are experiencing this)

Also here’s the Double Pop Up Video. Figured might as well record it

Hi There,

Thank you for those videos. Unfortunately, admin password is incorrect. Please double check.

Whoops, Try it again. Just changed it to the password listed above .

Hello There,

I was able to login. Regretfully I could not check anything because the credentials has only a very limited privileges. Please change its role to at least an administrator so that we can do a test and take a closer look at this issue in your site.

Thank you.

Hey it looks like the customer is messing with the site.

I’m going to give you access to another one

Hi there,

Thank you for providing the info in Secure Note. I checked the website and added a new test page with an Alert element which has no problem. This seems to be an issue happening on a specific element users add. Would you please check and narrow down the case to the element which caused the problem and add it to TEST PAGE which I created to follow up the case?

Thank you.

Found the culprit. It is the Responsive Text. Took awhile to figure that out.

Once you add the Responsive Text options this begins to happen.

Can you describe to me how to remedy this as every website i have, has the responsive text feature being used.

EP

Hi again,

I logged in with the above credentials and the rights were too limited to check or create a page. Please grant us administrative rights so we can take a closer look.

Thanks!

Looks like you used the one from before.

Hi there,

Thank you for the information. You were right this was related to the Responsive Text functionality. We reported this to our development team:

Thank you for pointing this out. Please kindly stay tuned for upcoming releases to have a fix regarding this.

Thank you.
