Many years ago, back when PRO was on its early stages, it had a compat issue with another plugin (i think it was media replace or something similar).
The issue was that when you saved a certain page in the cornerstone builder, it created hundreds of copies of the page you were saving (as many as there were posts published if i recall correctly).
turs out that when this happened, it also created THOUSANDS of entries in the database, specifically in the postmeta table.
It happened to me MANY times, so my DB is full of garbage since for some reason the posts were deleted and some of the metadata was deleted with it but there were leftovers in the site.
between that and many other plugins i had, now this table is over 1GB big and i am optimizing it.
i have to do this manually because even with 3gb of RAM and plenty of overall resources, i always hit exceeding memory errors with db optimizing plugins.
I was wondering if you could tell me if there were OLD metadata entries that are no longer used or if PRO has some sort of “garbage collector” that could help with this?
