Classic Video Player | Self Hosted Videos | White Space

Hi guys looking for some help.

All my self hosted video’s have vanished since i updated to WP 4.9 and are now just showing white space.

I did try to readd them using the new improved player however they still only display white space once its been saved.

Tried a search on forums but after trying some of the fixes i still cannot get the videos to show on the site that are self hosted, this is an issue as we need them working. i understand this could be a bug but is there anyway they can be fixed without hosting them else were.

Thanks for writing in.

This issue is added to our issue tracker already. I could not guarantee you the time when will it be fixed however I could guarantee you that our developer is doing their best to fix this issue.

The only fix as of now that we could suggest is to host your video outside your host.

I tried to roll back my version of wordpress to 4.8.3 however that didnt fix the issue

Thanks for the reply, looks like ill have to sit and wait and hope the dev’s can sort this out

I checked and it still 4.9, but I did check it on my installation with 4.8 and it’s working. Please try downgrading it while you’re waiting for the fix.

I tried to put WP back to 4.8.3 but that still didnt fix the issue ,

Currently the only way I found that fixed it was to download the stability version , just means i have to hold off using the new editor until you fix the issue in the V5 version of the skin

If you could provide credentials and then a test page with the issue, this will help diagnose the issue better. For the mean time, try embedded video. Thank you for understanding.
