Classic Video embed is no longer working

I’ve been adding videos to my website for a few years and now I no longer have the option to embed vimeo code into the classic video element. It seems to have just disappeared.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out.

It looks like Vimeo related, it doesn’t play right away and it’s an embed code which uses an iframe. And with that, the entire site’s coding will have no effect on what’s within that iframe.

Or perhaps you’re referring to a different video? Please provide further information.

What’s happening is I’m no longer able to see where I can add the video embed code. It’s like something has changed. I only see a place to put a background video url.

Further to my previous note. When I’m in cornerstone and hover over where the Classic Embedded Video is, it will not open in the Inspector. I’m going to add a secure note with login and a page where you can see what I’m talking about.

Hello Chris,

The vimeo video is displaying in the front end. Do you experience the issue when you edit the page in Cornerstone? For the meantime, you can use the skeleton mode to edit the page for faster response and easy access of the elements on the preview area.

By the way, we could not check and edit the page because you are having too many redirects. Please contact your hosting provider and ask for further assistance to resolved this redirects issue.
