Classic Section versus Section

I noticed that during one of my website builds using Pro, that one of the pages have Add Classic Section between sections instead of Add Section.

When does Add Classic Section display versus Add Section?

This is a new site built with Pro, so no classic elements had been converted or introduce (or so I thought).

Hi there,

The previous version of Pro was using section that have different structure to the new section feature that was introduced Pro 1.2.0. So if you have created the sections prior that pro 1.2 and have updated it, those section will appear as Classic Section in the builder and when you create a new section, they will a v2 section will be added on the page.

Ah, that makes sense.

However, this was a newly created website using the latest version of Pro. Any other reason that might explain it?

Would any of the page templates introduce classic elements (like the Team page template)?
