Classic recent posts element - how to use post ID?

In the classic element Recent Posts there is a field ‘ID’. Here I want to show 1 specific recent post, and thought I could use this field for that purpose.

But when I fill in the post ID 4771, that specific post is not shown. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi There,

Another way would be to assign a special category to that post (Eg: Special) and then you can use our shortcode to show that category.

[x_recent_posts count="1" orientation="vertical" category="special"]
