I have tried everything I know to try to change the image background from white to gray in both cornerstone, css and global css.
I cannot figure this out.

Hello @janequade,
Thanks for asking.
Actually white background is in the image. Here’s the image link. https://qt-consultants.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/pencil-red.jpg
Please remove the background from Image itself. To learn more please take a look at following Google Search Result
Thanks.
omg. i’m such an idiot. I really thought i created transparent backgrounds. So sorry.
No worries.
So after feeling like a moron for using backgrounds with these images, I did remove the background and uploaded new images.
Deleted old images from library.
Cleared caches.
Set background for images to gray.
Not working.
See attached screen shot.

Hi there,
The background color only works for the icon and number type.
Try adding this to the Global CSS:
.x-feature-box-graphic-inner {
background-color: hsl(0, 0%, 60%);
}
Hope this helps.
Thanks a million. Worked perfect.
I added a bit more for rounded corners.
Jane
