Classic Elements being retired?

Hi Guys!

I’m working on building a website and am looking to add animation (a column slide in/fade in) when it comes onto the screen from the bottom.

I’ve seen that this can be done with classic elements but am not sure if classic elements will be removed at some point in the near future. Can anyone advise me on this?

If they are going to be removed soon, what is the best way to go about it so that it works on all media sizes (ie, the JS isnt based on a specific amount of scroll rather just when it comes onto the screen)

Hey @The_Capture_Factory,

Don’t worry, we’re not planning on removing the classic elements any time soon, if at all. We’ve always tried to maintain backwards compatibility wherever possible. So feel free to continue using them.

Moreover, we do plan to get animations in as part of our newer elements. We don’t have a release timeframe as yet, but it is on our roadmap.
