Classic Columnize Not Working Correctly On Firefox

On the following page:

Custom Columnize doesn’t appear to be working correctly on Firefox. Firefox is showing the list of patriot service abbreviations as one column when it should be displaying them as two columns.

Works fine on Safari and Chrome as well as mobile displays.

Hey Roger,

The reason why it does not work is because you’re using a table inside the Columnize element. It is not supported in Firefox. The Columnize element is best use for simple text.

I’d recommend you separate your text into two tables and use the Block Grid element instead.

Thanks.

Bummer…Block Grid isn’t an option as we want the responsive capability to move from two columns to one column depending on screen size. Since Firefox is only 16% of the market I guess we’ll live with the format.

Hey There,

In your case, you just simply cannot use a table inside this element. You will have to change your layout to something that will have to work with the element and at the same time the elements works with the content.

Thank you for your understanding.
