Classic Card Button Link

Hi,
I would like to know I how can embed short code into back button link on the classic card so I can have a terms and conditions form pop up before people are redirected to the designated page?

Any idea how to do that?

Please advise.

Thank you!

Hi @quituck,

Thank you for reaching out to us. As a workaround you can first trigger a popup when you click on the classic card button, assuming you’re using Convert Plus extension to show modals, you can trigger a Convert Plus module using CSS class of the classic card button which is x-face-button ( please see https://www.convertplug.com/plus/docs/two-step-modal-using-css-class/ ) and then add a button in your popup and link it to the designated page.

Hope this helps!

That won’t work for me.

I am using a terms and conditions pop up. Here is the short code [wpterms id=“2025”]

After people accept the terms they will them get redirected to my landing page.

How can I do that without using convert plug?

Please advise.

Thank you!

Hello @quituck,

Please be aware that the button link in the classic card will only accept a plain link. It does not accept a shortcode or any custom link code. Does this WP Term and Condition popup plugin have any option to launch the modal? There must be something to trigger it. I would recommend that you ask further assistance to the creators of the Terms and conditions popup plugin to know how it can be triggered using a link or a button.

Please let us know how it goes.

Okay. So, I’m using the convert plug pop up and I’m not having much luck with triggering the popup in the classic card element.

I put my link in the button link section http://mysite.com and added my class x-face-button in the class section below the button link section. That was unsuccessful at triggering my pop up. I tried a few other ways as well and did not have any luck. What am I doing wrong?

Please help.

Thank you!

Hi @quituck,

Yes, I can confirm using classic card element button, convertplus popup doesn’t trigger. It works with regular button. I will submit this to our issue tracker for investigation. We will check if it the issue is on the element or on convertplus side. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.
