Class for active-shown navigation on child pages?

Hey Apex Team,

please can you give me a quick hint for wich class I have to use to style the parent link in the navigation, if Im visiting a child page? An example on my site is in the security note.

Actually the navigation looks great if Im on the parent page of the navigation. If I visit a child page the navigation link goes black. That isn’t very user-friendly :slight_smile:

Best Regards
Kay

Hello @Seduction_Graphic,

Thanks for asking. :slight_smile:

Please retry setting up the link color from X > Launch > Options > Header > Links - Text > Navbar Links. You can also add following CSS under X > Launch > Option > CSS:

.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > li > a:hover{color: #7ca7aa;}

.x-navbar .desktop .x-nav > li > a:not(.x-btn-navbar-woocommerce){color:#000;}

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Thank you for your reply, but it’s not exactly what I mean.

If you visit “/privat-coaching/karriereplanung/” the parent link “privat-coaching” and the the sublink “karrieplanung” should be styled in #7ca7aa. All the rest in #000.

My problem is, how to style a active link of the parent page, if I’m visiting a child page which is subordinate of the parent page?

Hello There,

Thank you for the clarifications. To resolve the issue, please add the following CSS code in the X > Launch > Theme Options > Global CSS (http://prntscr.com/evui3r)

.x-navbar .x-nav li.current-menu-parent > a {
    color: #7ca7aa;
}

Please let us know if this works out for you.
