Church theme - layout problem

Hi,

Encountered two layout problems.

1. Cannot fix two columns on the same row

I’m trying to add an image to the existing layout that comes with the Church Theme. The Latest News was in a single column. I applied the “two-column” layout and inserted a blue image to the other column, but the two columns just won’t stick side by side. A padding, margin issue?

2. Cannot reduce the Footer height. In the Options>Footer, I did uncheck the Footer Menu and Footer Social, but that didn’t change anything.

Thanks for reaching out.

Seems the One column layout is selected for the Row element if your section. Please check to select the Two column option to get that.

Regarding your footer, it seems the footer height is fine, but the section just above the footer is having the same background color without any content, that may be the reason for confusion.
Please delete the above section, or add any different background color with the content to avoid this.
