Chrome error - out of memory

Hi,

I’m experiencing a weird issue with my website. The site loads perfectly but some users report that after a while the page disappears and an error message comes up saying ‘Error code: Out of Memory’

I wondered if you have any insight into why this might be happening? Screenshot of the message in Chrome attached.

Hi Tim,

We have checked your website in multiple browsers, in multiple devices but unable to replicate the problem. It would be great if you can please give me some steps to replicate it.

Hi Tristup,

Thanks for looking into it. I’ve not experienced myself it’s been reported by a user and happens after the webpage is left for an amount of time - it seems to go into a ‘timeout’ and run out of memory.

Have you ever experienced anything similar to this?

I have encountered similar problems for different reasons. But in your case, I was not able to replicate them at all.

Okay thanks. Do you have any suggestions of what I could do to diagnose the issue? I’m trying to work out how much memory the page is using, and if there’s anything I can tweak in Cornerstone to reduce it?

Hi Tim,

You can check the Tools > Site Health for critical issues and fix those if any.
