At the check-out page the terms and conditions link is showing {{children}}.

Please make sure that you have set up the Terms and Conditions page. Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced tab to set the page.

This is already set to the correct page. However, it is an cornerstone page with an classic text element within a section.

Hi @wousimons,

Could you try creating your terms & condition content with standard editor instead of the builder? The terms and condition should have no complex layout since it’s just displayed within checkout.
