Hi there, I am not able to upload the X child theme as I am getting the following error message:
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
any help appreciated

One of the reasons you may receive this error is if you have uploaded the incorrect file. first download your theme from https://theme.co/docs/child-themes extract the zip file you receive, you’ll see the x-child folder inside which is the actual child theme (install-able):
Either upload it via FTP directly or zip this folder and upload it via Appearance > Themes section. For full instructions please follow https://theme.co/docs/child-themes#how-to-install-a-child-theme
