Child theme not working?

Hi,

I use the x-child theme wich i downloaded from my account.
But if i add css it doens’t show up in style.css in the child folder.
On the other hand when i add css in the style.css directly nothing happens on the theme.
I would like to now if i’am doing something wrong?

Hi There,

Custom CSS added on your the customizer is saved as content on the database and not added on child theme style.css.

On the other hand, a CSS added on the child might not work because of CSS specificity or syntax error. To help you better, please share us your site URL and the CSS you have added on child theme style.css so we can where the issue is coming from.

So if i use the customizer the CSS will not be overwritten if the theme gets an update?
I can’t priovide you with a link beacause i’am working local on my laptop.

Hi there,

Adding the CSS in the customizer should remain intact even after update.

If you try to add the CSS styles in the style.css file, try to clear your browser cache then load the site again.
