Child Theme Not installed

Hey guys,

I see that X has an update. I just realized that I installed X and did all my work there, can I now activate my child theme and copy my CSS modifications on customizer?

Or this is gonna mess everything I did? I know I should had activated Child theme and worked from there. Newbie

I just want to make sure none of the optimization I did with the plugins will still stay the same.

Hi Lucy,

CSS Codes that are added in the Customizer are stored in the database so it won’t get overwritten on theme update.

But as a precaution please create a full backup of your site before updating.
