Child Theme - How to verify that it contains all theme changes

I’ve been running x-child for a while as my active theme, but installed it after I had put in some css for the core theme. What’s the best way to make sure that x-child contains all of my customization?

Thanks for writing in.

Backup your core theme where the customization is, then install a fresh core theme. Then compare the two and find the difference, then you’ll see what customization was added and simply copy it to your child theme.

And you should test it while doing that to see if the change you’re expecting from old core theme is taking effect on your child theme.
