Checkout manager

Hi,

I can’t seem to figure out how the conditional settings work for a field in the checkout manager.

What I want to achieve is that the form only shows the postcode field and the name and lastname field.

Then when the postcode is entered another plugin will populate the street, city etc. fields

So when postcode is empty all the others should be hidden. When the postcode is entered the other fields should show up (and will be autofilled).

What happens is, when I edit the conditions for the postcode field no matter what I put in the ‘If this current field doesn’t have this content’ field makes the postcode field disappear from the checkout form. Which is strange, because the next field is ‘then hide these’.

So I’d expect that whatever I put in the ‘then hide these’ field are the fields that would be hidden on the checkout form.

Kind regards,
Edwin

Hello Edwin,

Thanks for writing in! There is a known bug or conflict between the latest version of the plugin, WordPress 5.1 and the theme. Our developers have been made aware of this situation already. Once they will be able to investigate and identify the cause of this issue, it will be fix in the next release update cycle. Watch out for it.

Please bear with us. Thank you for your understanding.

I would like to add that also if you want to validate the field with a custom regex expression the expression changes when you save it. So I can never make it work as the expression I enter gets changed upon saving it

Hello @edwinoonk,
