Changing the side layout from boxed to fullwidth

Hello all,

we are using X Theme for our website together with Conerstone.

The website was built a few years ago with the side layout “boxed”. But now we would like to change the side layout to “fullwidth”.

Our question now would be, to what extent this change has an impact on the correct display of the existing content afterwards? Do we have to expect a lot of bugs here?

Hello Maxi,

Thanks for writing to us.

To change the layout go to the X—>Theme Options–>Layout And Design -->Site Layout.

There won’t be any bug but there will be some layout changes and styling might break in case if you would have written custom CSS or JS code, it would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. then make the changes on the layout and then the test it at your staging server without breaking your live site.
