Changing the color of the video player controls

Hi There!

I was wondering if there was any way to change the video player controls from a dark gray to a lighter color. I have a minimalistic, white site and the dark control bar is quite jarring.

Or, if there was any way to possibly hide the controls of the video until you click on the poster image, that would be even better!

Which video player, is it the self-hosted video? Wordpress uses MediaElementsJs library for the player, and our theme is dependent on it too.

If you can provide a sample URL where the video is, and provide the customization that you like to element (CSS level only), then maybe I could provide a simple CSS to change them :slight_smile:

The player has many aspects so, it’s best if you can provide your target’s final mockup design :slight_smile:
