Changing the background colour of a menu rollover

hello,

I have used the following CSS to change the header background colour

.x-navbar{
background-color: #9400D3;
}

but when the header menu expands the background is white (and since my text header colour is white too, you can’t read the text. I am just trying to change the background colour of the drop down menu to the same colour. Thank you in advance.

Please try this:

.x-navbar, .x-navbar .desktop .sub-menu {
    background-color: #9400D3;
}
