Changing Stack Design

Hi,

I would like to ask for some assistance on how can I change from one stack design (homepage) to another stack design (homepage). It seems that the default is homepage 1 only from one stack to another. I want to see the look of changing my stack from the different homepage.

Thank you in advance.

Troy

Hi Troy,

Thank you for writing in, yes that is correct you can only apply one stack at a time. What you can do is navigate to X > Theme Options > Stack and preview each stack on how would it look and choose which one best for you.

Have a nice weekend,
Cheers!

Hi @friech,

Thank you for your reply. I can actually preview the 4 stacks you mentioned but what I want to preview are the different design layout (theme or homepage? I’m not actually sure of the correct term) per stack. As you can see there are 10 theme/design each for the integrity stack, renew stack, icon stack, and 3 in the ethos. That’s something I don’t see where to preview it.

Thanks again.

Hi Troy,

You can check them in Admin > X > Validation > Demo Content. You can preview it by selecting the demo and clicking the view button.

Then if you wish to replace your existing demo, just click the Setup Demo Content button. This will replace your home page and anything related to the demo. But if you’re just looking to import a different home page demo while maintaining other stack or setup then it’s not currently possible.

Thanks!

Hi Rad,

Thank you for the help. I just wonder if I could preview each demo using the existing stack demo I currently used. I want to see the actual posts I already published with my my existing stack.

Hi Troy,

What you could do is create a temporary site where you could import the demo. And for each demo import, save the home page as a template.

Once you’re done, you can go to X or Pro > Template Manager and you can export the home pages you saved. Which you can import to your site where your actual published posts are present.

Thanks!

Hi Rad,

Thanks a lot! Your input is very much helpful. I realized its really possible. Cheers!

You’re most welcome!
