Changing Skin Font Size in The Grid

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the font size of the grid skin so that it stops breaking the words up with"-"

currently it reads “Im” “proviment” could we make the text smaller so it reads “improvement” on one line?

same with “air” “port” and “profes” “sional”
