Changing Fonts Sitewide Retroactively Automatically

Hi,

I’ve searched all through the forums & help documentation, but I can not find this answer.

I’ve already used the Font Manager to change my default heading & body fonts, but I need this to be retroactive. I need them to be changed sitewide also. I need every page to be updated to be using the new heading & body fonts. How do I do this? If I can’t I have days & days & days of doing this manually.

Hopefully someone can help me, please.

Thank you,
-Doren

Hey Doren,

Thanks for reaching out!

In the theme option, you can set the body/content and headings fonts globally.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

Unfortunately, no, it does not help because, as I mentioned, I have already done that & it didn’t change anything retroactively. I have a very large site & I need all the fonts to be changed per new style guidelines & can’t spend days doing this. Does that help explain myself better?

Thanks!

Hey Doren,

If that option is not working on your website, you must write a custom CSS to override the body/content and headings fonts. Regretfully, providing custom CSS is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Thank you for understanding.

Thank you. So, you’re saying that changing them in the Font Manager is supposed to change them on all pages retroactively? Thanks!

Hey Doren,

If you set them up correctly before, changing the font in the theme options will change everything across your website.

Thank you.

Gotcha, I did not design the site, so they obvoiusly did not design it properly, hence the issue I’m having. Thank you for the clarification!

Hey Doren,

You’re most welcome!
