Changes to one header template changes all templates

Hello,

I’m using Pro for two websites. On one of the websites I am able to add multiple header templates as expected, and modify them individually. For the other site - when I create a new header (from scratch, from an existing template, or as a copy of an existing header) and then go to modify one header, then all of the headers are modified. The changes apply to all headers. Any ideas why this might be happening on one site but not the other? Both are up-to-date on plugins and theme version.

Thanks!

Hello Utah,

Thanks for writing in! Changing one header will not affect all other headers in the theme. That should always be the case with Pro Theme’s header and footer builder. To better assist you with your issue, kindly provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

@RueNel Thank you for the reply. I’m uncomfortable sharing my username and password, even if by secure email. Any chance we can schedule a screen share?

Hey Utah,

Regretfully, that’s not possible. We do not offer live video support. You can share a screencast instead or give us a detailed report on what options applied to all headers so we’ll test the header builder according to your usage. If we replicate the issue on our end, we’ll post it in our issue tracker so it will be queued for fixing.

Thanks.

@christian_y thank you - I have shared a username, password, and site link as a secure note to my previous comment. Thanks!
