Change Title on Custom Post Type Page to Custom Post Type ID (name)

Ladies and Gents:

My inquiry at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/change-archive-page-title/28696 was locked/closed, so I am reopening it here.

The _landmark-header.php code provided worked to change the title on the custom post type archive (summary) page, but when I click to view the entire post, the “News” title still appears. Looking at the graphics I supplied in the original forum post at the link above, the custom post ID now appears in the instance shown by the first graphic, but News still appears as the page title as shown in the 2nd graphic.

I understand I can change “News” to something else in the customizer, however I (will) have a regular blog on this site too, so I need to keep “News” as “News” there for that purpose. Plus, if I end up with a 2nd custom post type for which I need to display full posts, I will not be able to display different page titles on specific post types if I use the customizer.

Is there a way to change the title of the full post page from News to the custom post title as we did on the custom post archive page using the _landmark-header.php file?

The code provided above did work for the other half of my needs. I ended up combining the snippet provided for to _landmark-header.php in my previous request (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/change-archive-page-title/28696) with the snippet you provided in the code above to get both the custom post type landing page and the custom post type full post page to display the custom post type name as the page title for both. Thanks!
