Change the look of recent posts!

I have added Recent Post’s Element on the Front Page of the website, I want to understand as per how to customise the look of Recent Posts Element, in the default settings, all I am able to do is change the number of recent posts, but I want to change the way this element looks.

The design of recent posts element is intentional and there are no available options to change it. But still changeable with custom CSS. How about using Essential Grid or The Grid plugins for displaying your posts? With that, you can use their skin builder/editor to create a design that you prefer without a need for custom CSS.
