Change Standard "Post page" settings

I’d like to adjust the settings of the generic “Post Page” for a blog. Simply, two changes:

1. Change the “yellow” icon to a different color (or get rid of them all together)
2. Remove the “The Blog” and the far right link on the menu.

Any ideas?

    display: none;
}
.blog .x-header-landmark,
.single-post .x-header-landmark {
    display: none;
}
