I have setup a website with one theme (renew) now if i want to try a different design another stack, what will happen to all my current settings, pages, post, active plugins etc if i change stack?
What is the approcah here,

Just the general styling will change, everything will be preserved and you can select Renew back and it will look like before.
You achieve that on X > Theme Options > Stack
*** If you load another demo content on Wp Admin > X some content will be replaced
