Change size of heading level with cornerstone

Hello,

I´ve been trying to edit with cornerstone the heading level in a classic custom headline.
I wanted to have 2 different sizes for headlines. I used H1 and H3. And I want to have these different sizes on all my pages. In my preview with cornerstone I can see the difference between the two sizes, but once I switch to wordpress again- the headlines still have the same size, therefore there was no change.

Do you know what has been going on here?

Kind regards

Hello Anna,

Thanks for asking.

Can you please let us know the page wherein you have added? I checked the website and in home page I see that custom headline added and depending on the screen size it’s changing the font size too. I also suggest you to try out following solutions:

  1. Please clear cache and test the case again.
  2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thanks.

Hi

I did deactivate all third-party plugins, but the problem is still remaining.
This is the page I meant : https://wp-ludwigshafen.feg.de/angebote/

Hey Anna,

I checked your page and I see you’ve added inline styling to your custom headline element i.e the same font size font-size: 48px; to all of your h3 headlines. Please remove the font-size property from the Style field of your headline elements and use Looks Like option to change the headline size instead (see screenshot)

Let us know how this goes!

Hi,

Iam not sure what you mean. Which style field? You mean the theme options?
If I use “looks like” nothing will be changed. The size of the headline remains.

Hi again,

Please go to your Custom Headline’s settings in Cornerstone then scroll down to find the Style field (see screenshot)

Then remove the font-size property font-size: 48px;

Let us know how this goes!
