Hello all!
Was wondering if there was a relatively easy way to modify the existing masonry grid for displaying categories in X Theme. On our site we would like to keep all posts within the same reverse chronological order as opposed to having them being switched around. Of course with this implementation of the masonry grid this seems not possible as the posts tend to switch places. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for writing in! The grid items will always display in chronological order. When Masonry is applied, it will make sure that there are no space and rearrange the grid items so that the items will display nicely with no spaces in between. This is where your problem begins because the items will no longer be in order. There is no way you can prevent Masonry to rearrange the items. The easiest way to prevent this from happening, please make sure that your grid items will have the same grid height. The featured images must have the same dimensions so that when displayed in the grid item, the grid items will still have the same heights. If your grid items are displaying excerpts, you must also make sure that each of the grid items will have the same excerpt lengths.
